What is Decentraland?

Decentraland is a decentralized virtual reality platform that allows users to create and monetize content and applications. Their digital land platform is called "LAND." This layer is a distributed storage system. Decentraland uses it to deliver virtual world content. Smart contracts store a file that lists a description of each digital parcel. You can get these files if needed. The function is to provide the platform with all the relevant information needed to rent a property. It can include things like audio files, 3D meshes, and textures. 

RealTime Layer

Users communicate with each other through peer-to-peer connections on this layer. Without a centralized server, these connections are necessary to establish social interaction. Decentraland also provides a messaging voice chat feature. And it offers a wide range of other features to its users, such as an SDK. 

Use cases for Decentraland

Digital land shoppers can use the ATLAS tool to find the best location, to develop in Decentraland. The fun of building, decorating, and sharing scenes in Decentraland is admirable, but users can also only hang out in different districts. Decentraland promotes content management. And users can gather with others with common interests to introduce each other to new content. Users who want to share their creations can also place billboards in high-traffic neighborhoods to promote products, services, or events.
